EDUCATION: Dr. Frances Capraro attended the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1987 where she was in the Junior Honors Medical Program and graduated Magna cum Laude. She received her MD Degree in 1991 from The University of Florida College of Medicine.
INTERNSHIP/RESIDENCY: Dr. Capraro served her residency in Family Practice through the University of North Carolina at Mountain Area Family Health in Asheville, NC from 1991-1994.
PRACTICE EXPERIENCE: Dr. Capraro began her practice of Family Medicine in Weaverville NC in 1994 at Weaverville Family Medicine Associates. She has served as a preceptor in Family Medicine and as an ACLS instructor. From 1997 to 2003, Dr. Capraro was a Staff Physician at Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care and Mercy Family Care. In 2003, she became employed with Omni Healthcare, and worked at their facilities through 2007. Her final stop prior to the opening of her own practice was Sebastian Family Walk In from 2007.
